Full Podcast Archive

Every podcast we've done is available here. Only here. Why?
Well, we broke iTunes!

We have so many podcasts, our RSS feed file now chokes iTunes.
Listen to our podcast about our podcast archives.

We've been podcasting before podcasting was podcasting. We called them "audio blogs" back in February of 2004, and six months after we started our audio blogs, Apple introduced the world to this new thing called "podcasting." We were glad to see they finally caught up to us!

Now with over 500 podcasts to date — and counting! — we were choking the iTunes RSS feeder. Some folks reported that iTunes occasionally shows our podcast site as "unavailable." A simple "refresh" usually gets iTunes to acknowledge us again, but it's a hassle. I guess this is what happens when you've just got too much stuff.

Since iTunes now seems to choke on too much content (!), we've had to change the access to our full archive of podcasts. We've removed the earlier ones from iTunes, but they are always available directly from our website. The most recent podcasts will still be available on iTunes.

Our entire podcast collection is available in three ways . . .

  1. Click on the links below to listen to the podcasts one-at-a-time, directly from your browser.
  2. Download each podcast individually to your computer from the links below.
  3. Download the entire collection grouped into ZIP files, 100 podcasts per file. Once they are on your computer, you can then unzip the download file, copy all or any portion of them to your portable MP3 player (iPod, or other brands), and listen on the go, or just play the MP3 files with your computer's audio player.

Those of you who are subscribers to LensWork Extended know that the most recent podcasts are also available on each new issue. The versions included with LensWork Extended are higher resolution, studio-quality audio, and do not include the intro music. It's nice music, but once you've heard it a couple of hundred times, it does get old.

It's all free. Have fun!

Here are the individual podcasts. Click on the number to start playing in your browser. Right-click and "Save link as . . ." to download an individual podcast to your computer. You may also copy these files to your iPod or MP3 player for listening on the go.
