An 8-print folio of the violent weather of the American West

What happens when a landscape photographer partners with a storm chaser? Mitch Dobrowner knows exactly what happens — a lot of road time that is rewarded with a chance to photograph these spectacular storms.

This is our second folio of work from Mitch Dobrowner. Since that first folio back in 2008, Mitch has become one of the rising stars of landscape photography in the American West. His sense of timing and light are superb. To say that he has a knack for the dramtic would no doubt be an understatement.

"Since I was a kid I've loved being caught in thunderstorms. Those memories have always inspired me. Fast forward to today: I love shooting landscapes in the nastiest weather possible. The natural question, therefore, was: Why not chase after storms? This seemed a natural extension of my landscape work."
