In this folio of six images, Reichmann presents us with portraits, true, but that special kind of portrait in which we learn so much about the individuals in the photograph by seeing them in the context of the environment in which they live.

Reichmann is best known in the photographic community for his extraordinary contributions through his website, www.luminous-landscape.com. He has developed a well-deserved reputation as an equipment guru. Less well-known, unfortunately, is his talent as a fine art photographer. It is a privilege and honor to shine a little light on his creative output via these pigment-on-paper folios. We are offering two LensWork folios — this one with six black-and-white prints, and a com-panion folio, Landscapes from Around the World, containing fifteen color prints. In addition to his other contributions to photography, it’s high time he was better known as a fine art photographer.
