The LensWork Road Show 2013
Half-day Seminars
on Photography & the Creative Process
This year's road show will be a bit different than previous years because so many of you have asked for topic-specific learning experiences. I'll be traveling to major metropolitan areas for a series of half-day seminars based on the most often-requested topics.
As publishers, we’ve learned a great deal over the last 20 years about producing work and finding an audience for it. In these unique half-day seminars, we’ll share with you practical and proven ideas that you won’t find in the typical camera-technique photography workshop. From developing your project to finding your audience — take your photography to the next level!
Projects
Editing, Sequencing, and the Finishing Touches

Ideas, Examples, Strategies, and Artist Statements
Photographs Off the Wall
Folios, Chapbooks, and Keepsakes
Finding an Audience for Your Work
Marketing, Distribution, Publishing, and Web Strategies That Work
Based on our workshops here in Anacortes, our Visual Workshops (on disc), and my articles in LensWork, these half-day seminars explore topics designed to help you move beyond the "pile of prints" and into finished projects regardless of the medium. Whether you are producing exhibitions, books, POD publications, PDFs, digital publications for iPad or other devices, these seminars will provide practical solutions to the sticking points that prevent work from completion.
We’re traveling to you! With most photography workshops, the cost of travel, lodging, and meals is higher than the cost of the workshop itself! We’re making these seminars time/cost efficient for you by hitting the road ourselves. Our first seminar is in Seattle, Washington, followed by Portland, Oregon the week before Photolucida. There are a total of 14 cities scheduled in the Spring/Summer Tour that is now open for registration.
We've organized these seminars to allow you to pick and choose from the topics that are of most interest to you. Or, you can attend all of sessions and save! Details of each seminar's topics can be found using these links.
