In the meantime, if you plan to give a folio for a holiday gift the latest order date for arrival by Christmas via regular shipping is December 15th.

If you missed it last week, the Ansel Adams Gallery has announced that they are now offering digital reproduction prints of Adams' work. We are glad to see them join us in the appreciation of how far digital printing has progressed and in the effort to bring photography to a wider audience through affordable pricing. They are now offering seven images, all for under $130. Good for them!

You might also find it of interest that Paul Caponigro's famous image Running White Deer is being offered by his son, John Paul Caponigro, as a digital print. More information can be found here. Again, we can only applaud these efforts to try to bring the best in photography to a more affordable level — even if in this case "more affordable" means $1,850 rather than the $5,000 to 7,000 for an original silver prints.
